Code Deck is a companion app that remote-controls the Code Deck desktop application running on your own computer — it monitors and drives a Claude Code session over your own network. It is not a standalone app; it needs the desktop app to connect to.

Requirements

iPhone or iPad on iOS/iPadOS 17 or later.
The Code Deck desktop app running on your computer, with Web API / Remote Access enabled in its Settings.
Your device and computer reachable on the same network.

Getting connected

On the desktop app, open Settings → Web API / Remote Access, enable it, and note the machine's address, the port (default 52443), and the username/password you set.
In Code Deck on your device, enter the host, port, username, and password, then tap Connect.
On first connection, confirm the certificate fingerprint matches the one shown in the desktop Settings, then trust it. It's remembered for next time.

Troubleshooting

Can't connect: confirm the desktop Web API is enabled, the address/port are correct, and both devices are on the same network.
Certificate warning: the desktop app uses a self-signed certificate — verify the fingerprint matches the desktop Settings card before trusting it.
Voice not working: allow microphone access when prompted (Settings → Code Deck → Microphone).
